Pancreatic Cancer...

My role model was my sweet mother, who passed away on August 15, 2015 from pancreatic cancer. She was diagnosed on May 22, 2015. A short 2 1/2 months is all we had. 

One week later, my dear father-in-law was diagnosed with the same cancer. His was caught early, and he was able to have the Whipple surgery. He spent the next 5 months in the hospital. He has been in and out of the hospital since then more times than I can count. He is still doing rounds of chemotherapy.

There is no cure for this disease. Only treatment. Only if it is caught early. I'm trying to spread the word about pancreatic cancer. If you want to know more, visit Pancreatic Cancer Network at pancan.org.
